What Is “The Final Battle”?

This is the culminating event for Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man season — a one-time Standard format tournament where players compete for store credit prizes and a limited-edition collectible.

The winner will receive an exclusive alternate cover of The Amazing Spider-Man #1, provided by Wizards of the Coast. This is your only chance to win this special prize at our store.

Tournament Structure:

• Format: Standard

• Pairings: Swiss rounds

• Rounds based on attendance (typically 4–5 for 16–32 players)

• Rules Enforcement: Regular REL

• Decklists not required, but encouraged for competitive integrity

• Only one Final Battle event will be held — don’t miss it!

Prize Structure (Store Credit – Top-Heavy Distribution):

Based on 16 Players:

• 1st Place – $60 + Exclusive Variant Comic

• 2nd Place – $30

• 3rd Place – $20

• 4th Place – $10

Based on 32 Players:

• 1st Place – $120 + Exclusive Variant Comic

• 2nd Place – $60

• 3rd Place – $40

• 4th Place – $20

The Amazing Spider-Man #1 variant comic is awarded to 1st place only.

Prizing scales with attendance, but only one will walk away with the exclusive comic variant!
