The Role:
- Are you a seasoned Dungeon Master with a flair for storytelling and a love for collaborative adventures?
- We're looking for a part-time DM to lead engaging, imaginative Dungeons & Dragons sessions at our local game store.
- Whether it’s a thrilling one-shot or a month-long campaign, you’ll be at the heart of bringing the world of tabletop RPGs to life for our players.
Key Responsibilities:
Run weekly D&D 5E sessions (1 shot or campaign, up to 1 month long)
Collaborate with players of various experience levels
Adapt stories to fit group dynamics and player choices
Assist new or experienced players with character creation
Prepare pre-made characters for use in one-shots or by drop-in players
Maintain a fun, inclusive, and respectful table environment
Arrive prepared with materials, maps, and session plans
Utilize in-store space respectfully and efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dungeon Master
Strong familiarity with D&D 5th Edition rules and mechanics
Experience running both one-shots and multi-session campaigns
Comfortable guiding players through character creation or providing pre-built characters as needed
Excellent storytelling, improvisation, and communication skills
Reliability and punctuality for weekly scheduled sessions
