The Role:

  • We’re seeking a part-time Marketing Consultant to help develop and guide our store’s marketing presence across digital, in-store, and community channels.
  • This is a perfect role for someone with strong marketing instincts, a feel for local community building, and ideally, a love for tabletop games.
  • You’ll work with ownership to shape the store’s voice, grow engagement, promote events and new products, and drive both foot traffic and online awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a monthly marketing strategy, including digital, print, and in-store campaigns

  • Coordinate promotion of upcoming events, new releases, sales, and community initiatives

  • Oversee or advise on social media, email newsletters, and website content

  • Design or direct the creation of promotional assets (flyers, signage, online graphics)

  • Track performance of campaigns and adjust based on results

  • Identify opportunities for growth through partnerships, outreach, or new marketing channels

  • Work closely with store staff to stay aligned on goals, schedules, and brand tone.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Background in marketing, branding, or communications

  • Strong understanding of small business or retail marketing

  • Familiarity with digital tools (e.g., Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, Google Business)

  • Excellent written and visual communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and bring creative solutions

  • Bonus: Passion for or familiarity with TCGs, miniature games, or tabletop hobby culture

  • Bonus: Experience with local event promotion or community outreach
